Patience and Grace

My tip of the week: As we all navigate new technologies, be patient with people.  It's served me well with clients, and I really appreciated being on the other side of it when hosting trivia last week.

Forget the inverted pyramid, try the inverted trapezoid (via NPR): https://training.npr.org/2020/08/20/for-digital-flatten-the-pyramid-and-embrace-the-trapezoid/

How much has the pandemic changed listening? Well, in some ways yes, others no. Great insight as always from Edison Research and Tom Webster  https://www.edisonresearch.com/listening-during-quarantine-a-share-of-ear-report/?

Spotify lists their Michelle Obama podcast as tops in the world, and they appear to have added her friends Harry and Megan - yes, that Harry and Megan.  But some controversy for the company this week.  Joe Budden is leaving the platform after saying they treated him horribly. https://variety.com/2020/digital/news/joe-budden-podcast-spotify-deal-exclusive-exit-1234750199/

And Joe Rogan's show has finally debuted on Spotify - with some of the more controversial episodes missing, including interviews with Alex Jones from InfoWars and others.   Yikes.
