Claire Wylds-Wright is the CEO of the Hypersomnia Foundation, and the author of Waking Mathilda, a memoir about her journey to California in search of an answer for her daughter's sleepiness. Her daughter Mathilda is one of the youngest patients to be diagnosed with narcolepsy in documented history. Claire is an inspiration. Her organization is doing phenomenal work both in promoting research for conditions of hypersomnia to improve treatment and if possible a cure for debilitating sleepiness, as well as acting as a hub of information for patients and their families. It is an honor to chat with her and I guarantee you this episode will inspire you.
