Americans spend an estimated $3.5-trillion on healthcare every year. The insurance process is responsible for more than 25% of the overall cost of healthcare. However, 60% of all family bankruptcies are related to medical expenses.

Using an employer-sponsored service, patients can access all the information they need to easily manage their own healthcare. Previously, David founded Broken Healthcare, a nonprofit helping patients dispute egregious medical bills.

"There's a great need right now, but nobody has an incentive to educate and support Americans in managing their own healthcare and making better decisions as consumers. The whole system would like to keep us out of it," says David. "But our business model begins with employers, because employers have a lot to gain from better healthcare."
