AHHHHH!!!! Meet my new bestieeeee!!
This week I'm sitting down with Maddie Warren, media specialist and sideline reporter in Banana Ball -- for the final official episode of Season 5!!
Maddie is the first woman I've featured from inside Banana Ball, and I can't think of a better way to close out this season than with her story. She's grounded, full of light, and her path into Banana Ball is proof of what happens when you trust God's timing instead of rushing your own.
We talk about waiting on a dream, trusting God's plan for exactly where you are right now, and what it looks like to take the risk when it's time to step. If you've been sitting on a dream or wondering if it's your turn to move, this conversation is definitely for you.
Season 5: Learning How to Be Content
P.S. A bonus Episode 13 is coming — I'll be sitting down with my editor to recap the highlights of Season 5, so stay close.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE HUMAN.
Not only is Jonathan "Sunshine" Luders captivating to watch on the field, he is such a stand-up guy off the field — every Banana Ball player who knows him will tell you.
And after getting a chance to talk with him, you'll understand why he's the epitome of Sunshine.
This designated infielder is known for his tremendous trick plays as well as his unicycle skills while hitting a banana ball!
And when I've seen him after a game, he seems to always have one of the longest fan lines out there and stays remarkably intentional with each kid, teen, and adult.
In this episode, we talk faith, his path into Banana Ball, and the behind-the-scenes moments that make him one of the most compelling guys in the Banana Ball league.

This conversation with Banana Ball player Christian Davis was full of so much life and faith. Not to mention Christian's great radio voice! 🎙️
Christian is a pitcher for the Texas Tailgaters, and we cover his journey to Banana Ball, we talk relationship and romance, and he drops some great wisdom nuggets throughout the conversation. And then we get a cameo from surprise guest — you'll have to watch to see who ;)
If you're holding onto a dream right now, or you just want the real, behind-the-scenes scoop on what it's actually like to be a Banana Baller — this one's for you.

Justice Arceri is having a moment right now on social media — and after this conversation, you'll understand exactly why!
We talk crashouts, Christian dating, and why the conversations we keep avoiding are the ones we actually need. Justice shares his story with a level of honesty that is truly, just so refreshing, especially coming from a man, and somewhere in there we also just... laughed. A lot. This one's got heat, heart, and zero faking the funk.

What did you love most about this conversation??
Have you ever wondered how a pastor felt the call of God on their life? In this conversation, we get an unhurried, expansive look behind the scenes of Pastor Mike Safford's journey into ministry — and why he's still in love with God and following Jesus after all these years.
He opens up about his work as a hospice chaplain, the beauty of community, and gives us perspective on living — especially in seasons that don't look like what we hoped for, and how we might wrestle that out with God. There's an honest weight to this conversation, and a real invitation in it. I'm so proud to share it with you — I think it's going to make you think and feel something real.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. This conversation was pure gold.
I sit down with THEE Garrett "Rhinestone" Lampert, Banana Ball entertainment host for the Texas Tailgaters. And when I tell you he is a deep, deep well. Buckle up, buttercup.
Garrett was gracious enough to share his very unique journey to Banana Ball as well as his genuine love for Jesus in a way that's incredibly inspiring.
He opens up about his dreams, faith, and the unexpected way romance has shown up for him inside the wild and crazy world of Banana Ball.
You may need to listen to this one 2x.
Get ready to be inspired. ✨✨✨

Kyle "Kmart" Martin (#27) is a Texas Tailgaters player in his rookie year of Banana Ball — and if you know, you know. If you don't know... you're about to. #welcometotheunction!
I first met Kyle and his wife Megan on the Bananaland at Sea cruise, and right away I was struck by his strong presence and deep kindness. He's the kind of human who looks you dead in the eye, says something profoundly kind to you, and leaves you a little stunned by it (in the best way!).
We talk about what it's actually like to be inside the Banana Ball world, what makes the culture so magnetic, why fans can't seem to get enough, and what Kyle believes makes all the difference in Banana Ball.
He also shares the story of how he and his wife, Megan met — and let's just say, its encouraging me to get back out there this SUMMER.
If you've been curious about Banana Ball, this is your firsthand account from someone on the inside. And if you're already a fan of Kyle... you're going to love him even more. ⚾

🎉 What was your favorite takeaway from this conversation??
I sat down with Sam, Mark, and Ariel — the guys from the Moral Revolution podcast episode "Let's Talk About It: Asking Single Christian Men What They Really Look For in a Wife" — and it became one of the most life-giving, joy-filled conversations I've had in a long time.
One is single. One is "talking to somebody." One has been in a relationship since Valentine's Day. And all three of them? Completely restored my hope.
I got to just listen. To their stories, their origin stories, what makes them tick, and how they each came to faith. And then we landed on something — something these men believe is absolutely vital, a real calling and mandate for any man who wants to stay healthy and grounded. I'll let them tell you what it is. 👀
This is the episode I didn't know I needed. And I have a feeling it's the one you didn't know you needed either.
If you've been wondering if good men still exist... this episode is your answer. 🎧
