Talking about the Legacy of one of the great artists of our time, Gene Kelly, is his widow Patricia Kelly: "He understood his artform. He understood the history, the politics, the music. He was there to record the music and worked with the musicians. He was there to check the colour with the technicolour team. He understood every component of everything. He was just a really descent man. He was always looking out for the underdog, the guy who didn't quite make it."
