Tonight we go through the Book of James and what it says about the tongue.  The tongue can heal, destroy, bless or curse and we are to be wise in the use of it.  Thank you for joining us this evening as we uncover James, his letter, on what kind of Christian we choose to be.  Following is the performance by Mark Lowery of Mary Did You Know.  It's a way to start this beautiful season celebrating the birth of Jesus.  

Tonight we begin our series on the Book of James and why this is such an important book.  In just 108 versus of this short letter, there are 60 obligations as a Christian.  James focuses on the truths of Jesus's words in the Sermon on the Mount and motivates us to act upon what He taught.  You will be blessed in this series as it will push you to be better in your walk and get closer to knowing His word.  

Tonight we discuss what has happened to Christmas today?  What is Dec. 25th? Who is this Santa Claus?  Join us as we dive deep into this very topic and the secular and religious aspects.

In this episode we will see that the politics for David were not that much different than today.  We will see how Nebuchadnezzar comes together with David  to form a sort of government where there were offices to be filled and positions to be filled.  Nebuchadnezzar would eventually appoint David over the lands and many of his friends in high positions.  We will see how the two dealt with politics and there was fighting, backstabbing, disunity, but also there was unity and prayer.  In the next section we will dive deeper on the differences or not so different and talk about Politics in the pulpit.  

Part 2 of the Modern Day church covers the last two of  the five specific spiritual components that define the church.  In this episode we will discuss the Ministry Minded Church and the Soul-Winning Church.
