Following a normal beginning to the interview recorded at the Edinburgh Fringe 2014, Steven Davidson goes on to ask the interviewee questions about a life which he has made up for them. A life that didn't happen. Pat Monahan has no idea of the questions beforehand or his 'favourite' tunes that are played and none of his answers have any hint of truth or any connection to his actual real life.
