When it was still in publication, Martha Stewart Magazine published a monthly calendar that included Marth’s tasks for that month. I used to read it both for humor and education. Many of the things on her list I didn’t even realize were things that needed to be done (ie, vacuum mattresses). Most of them weren’t things most people would ever need to do (ie, “shampoo and groom the donkeys” or “take inventory of the wine cellar”) but each month there was typically at least one thing that was helpful for me to remember to put structure around (ie, “reapply flea and tick repellent to dogs” ). For the month of June, I picked one of Martha’s previous June calendars and found several items to approach with an ADHD-Friendly lens. In this episode I share what I learned from my “Martha’s Month” experiment, including some funny adaptations, and even something I plan to continue doing!
