Day 344 | Philemon 1:1-25; Philippians 1:1–2:11

Paul’s short letter to Philemon reveals his appeal on behalf of Onesimus, urging that he be received no longer as a slave but as a beloved brother in Christ. From there Philippians opens with Paul’s confidence that God will finish the good work He began, his prayer for abounding love and growing discernment, and his call for believers to live as citizens of heaven—standing firm, united in purpose, and courageous in their faith. Together these passages highlight how the gospel reshapes relationships, character, and the way we live each day.
