Paul Korfonta - Getting off the Camp and Dodging Mortars - Paul Korfonta and Pete A Turner worked together in Iraq. While deployed to Baghdad Province, they worked with the 3rd of the 82nd Airborne, then under the 2nd of the 10th Mountain. Their job gave them access to the battlefield in unprecedented ways.   Paul is working on going back for his 13th deployment. His ability to write, his experience and his combat wisdom makes him a valuable asset to US interests abroad.
