A stunning, poignant, and unvarnished story about loss, passion, relationships, family, and the Shakespearean family's surroundings. I'm thrilled that Chloe Zhao is returning to her roots because she has such amazing control over the tone, characters, environment, and writing. Within the stunning production designs, exquisite camerawork, sound designs, and strong, forceful direction on the themes and tone, the characters' struggles, movements, and feelings were explored in a way that was great, original, and well-balanced. Zhao does a good job of examining how everyday people's lives revolve around their socioeconomic status, communities, and lives. In contrast to concentrating on the current age, Zhao's strategy for the classic era is still potent and successful.
