Paul Schatz is “sanguine and bullish” into the end of the year, saying it’s hard to find negative catalysts in late December. However, he thinks 2026 will be “the worst year since 2022,” arguing that there won’t be double-digit growth again, but it will still be a positive year overall. He likes SLB (SLB), formerly Schlumberger, as well as CF Industries (CF) and Veolia (VEOEF). On the small cap side, he highlights several ETFs.
