Some titles are like pregnancy, they take months to develop, others can come almost instantly, although that is rare. Crime author Pauline Rowson talks about how she comes up with the titles for her crime novels.

In this podcast I talk about beginning to write, what to write and my long road to getting published. Mystery thriller IN COLD DAYLIGHT by Pauline Rowson inspired by a conversation with firefighters on Red Watch, Southsea. I decided to take this idea and work it up into a thrilling fast–paced plot. I also choose not to feature as the main protagonist a brave fire fighter but a reluctant hero, Adam Greene. When fire-fighter Jack Bartholomew, is killed in a fire Adam is forced out of his comfort zone to undertake a perilous journey, that leads him into a labyrinth of lies, secrets and conspiracy at the highest level.
