TONIGHT is Yappy Hour at the Bulldog. A portion of the proceeds benefit FOTA, so we hope to see ya there. With that important message out of the way, it's on to the Dogs of the Week! Up first-- Nellie is a puppy who is a blonde sensation. She's playful and quite a cuddle bug. She puts on a serious face for photos, but in reality is a silly goose. Next is Kiddo who loves children and other dogs. She has precious perfect triangle folded ears. Kiddo has a teeny bit of gray on her muzzle that might lead folks to think she's older than she is. Don't be fooled! Listen, SHARE, and enjoy this new Pawcast #podcast.

Hello, hello to our two Dogs of the Week-- Peggy Sue and Nona. Peggy Sue is a Walker Hound mix who is athletic and pretty. Her foster dad David tells us all about hounds and why Peggy Sue is ready for a family. Up next is golden-eyed Nona! She is soft, happy, and attractive. We talk to Case about Nona and bonus: we go through the early transition stages of bringing a new foster dog into a home. Plus: Mardi Dog shirts; FOTA is a BRSoMe FINALIST; Pawprint. Hey, hey Sierra is a German Shepard, totally new to Friends of the Animals! She has a lot of love to give and is already showing off her smarts. Up next: Dasher! Handsome hound mix who is amber in color. Dasher has some shy characteristics at first, but that's not his whole story! ALSO: Car donation at FOTA (spoiler alert: lots of folks donate their cars to FOTA. Maybe you, too?) Listen, SHARE, and have a swell time with the new Pawcast #podcast.

Well, well... 2016 was quite a year for Friends of the Animals. Paula joins the show to give overall adoption numbers for the year, and the conversation turns to all the different agencies and partners that FOTA works with to rescue dogs. The great 2016 flood had a significant impact on our Baton Rouge community-- and an impact on dogs, too. Paula and Catherine recount the flood, and get to share nice adoption news about the final "FOTA flood dog." Some of the other good news includes PEDIGREE Foundation funding and Bark n' BBQ. The show wraps with a tiny tease about some of what is in store for 2017. It's a good one. Give it a listen. Happy New Year from FOTA and the Pawcast.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from the Pawcast. We count down the 12 Days of FOTA Christmas on this not-the-usual Pawcast episode. You'll hear a lot of facts a-flyin', a shout out to Katie (the Catahoula/Great Dane mix, up for adoption), and some familiar FOTA voices. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy this new Pawcast #podcast show.

Woo hoo! Big news opens the show! Paula talks about a recent grant received from the Pedigree Foundation (and how that relates to our two Dogs of the Week.) Hannah is gorgeous and playful.
