Chelsea is gorgeous and curious. Maybe some Aussie Shepherd, maybe some Border Collie, Chelsea has a lush coat and some workin' dog skills. Jacob is so sweet and is just a baby at 5 months. He's coming into his own as a houndy-style dog. Give him a toy and he's good to go. We want to get Jacob a forever home, but he's also a great example of a dog that needs a foster (hint!) Double hint: January is Foster month at Friends of the Animals BR! Meet both Chelsea and Jacob in the Dogs of the Week segment. January is the Month of the Foster at Friends of the Animals BR! Donna is the Foster Recruiter at FOTA and she joins us on the Pawcast to tell everyone about how to foster at FOTA, what fosters do, what fosters DON'T do, why we have a fostering program, how you can help.

Some of the questions answered on the show:

- How can I foster a dog? - Do I have to provide vet care for a foster dog? - What if I have questions about my foster dog? - Is fostering good for families with children? - Do I have to have dog experience before fostering? - How long is the fostering commitment? - I can't foster-- is there another way I can help?
