Pawcast: Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge

It's the Pawcast! Oh Flash, you honey-coated, energetic sweetheart. Meet this boy and hear about how he is growing into his athletic body, all while learning everything he needs to know about being a perfect family pet. Otis is new to FOTA and wasted no time making everyone fall in love with him. Otis is an ear cropped bully breed with an absolute baby face, and he's all about the love. Also: Dogly; what our friends at Spay Baton Rouge are up to; and say, did you know we are having a raffle? Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! Sadie is young and a galloping bundle of joy. Jaak Paul is a refined gentleman, who is in a special situation, looking for a just-right forever home, suited just for him. This week we hit hard on visiting The Dog Adoption House and to spread the word: we've got a lot of "day visitors" from the municipal shelter and this is the time to get people in to meet and adopt some dogs! Plus: Raffle, raffle, raffle! Please listen, share, and ENJOY!

It's the Pawcast! Too cute Winnie, with her wiry hair, and elegant beauty Piper get their turns as Dogs of the Week. Hear about the Dogly app and how it helps FOTA. You know we're gonna talk about the Doggone Raffle 2015, hear what new HOT items have been added to the mountain of prizes. Don't forget to vote whether you think Catherine is crazy... to think Piper looks like a Chocolate Tri Border Collie or not. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! On one end of the spectrum, we have Jubilee, and we discuss the merits of adopting an older dog... and on the other end of the spectrum, we have lovable handful Cannon. Both our dogs of the week are pups we'd like you to meet. Speaking of which: MESH, local BR integrated marketing firm did a fantastic campaign for FOTA; we talk to MESH account manager Lea to find out more. Plus: RAFFLE deets and why this time of year is so critical to pup organizations. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! Holy smokes! The storm came out of nowhere and tried to thwart the Pawcast. We prevailed with Scout-- the midnight black Shepard mix, and with Paddy, the golden low rider. We touch base with the Doggone Raffle, the brand spanking new Community e-Newsletter (sign up!), and with Spay Baton Rouge's upcoming fundraiser. Despite the storms, we gotta a Pawcast for you. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! June has been a banner month for adoptions, so FOTA staffer Sarah catches us up on all the great news. Apollo, the Border Collie mix (#ChocolateChipSocks) takes us on a walk through Mid City. Holly, volunteer photographer, takes us behind the scenes of a photoshoot and explains why quality photos are critical to dogs in rescue organizations. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! The official Pawcast Mail Bag is full of (fake) listener questions. We recruit House Hoomans Becca and Sarah to clear out the Mail Bag of all its most pressing questions. Learn more about the dogs and FOTA through these prescient questions. If you have a REAL question, of course, we always welcome those, too. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! Open seven days a week, The Dog Adoption House is a bevvy of activity. We go behind the scenes and get a small glimpse at all the goings-on in a single day at the House. Take a journey with us as we get a sense of all the efforts that make FOTA and The Dog Adoption House great. Listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! Regal Lady Stark is a gentle hound mix, ready to be the beloved family dog in your home (regardless of what GoT "House of" or other family allegiance you may have.) Molly is a living teddy bear dog that loves chasing leaves and loathes garbage trucks. Meet both these cutie pies on this edition of the Pawcast. Plus: there are puppies on the patio; raffles are a runnin'; Peanut plays frisbee. Special thanks to Sarah for talking about Lady Stark. Please listen, SHARE, and enjoy!

It's the Pawcast! There is definitely a back story to Jack Russell Terrier mix Harvey's name, and we reveal all on this episode of the Pawcast. Addie uses her long legs and needle nose to spring right into our hearts. Meet both these great dogs in the Dogs of the Week segment. Did you know this week is Staff Appreciation Week? Aw yea, shout outs to Sarah, Casey, Becca, and Lauren! Finally, there is a call to let people know about the opportunity to be a foster for Friends of the Animals. All that... and MORE! Please listen, SHARE, and enjoy!
