Pax Empire podcast episodes
- What is a micro nationIn this episode of the Pax Empire podcast, Emperor Declan Draven VanMichael explores the world of micro nations, small, self-proclaimed entities that insist they are separate countries, but are not recognized by recognized nations or major international organizations. Emperor Declan reveals that micro nations, often established by individuals or small groups for various reasons, from political statements to just for fun, have no real authority even though they may have elements associated with nations like flags, laws, and occasionally, their own currencies or passports. Although they are still under the jurisdiction of the countries they are located in, micro nations serve as interesting symbolic expressions of ideas, concerns, and issues. The podcast uses Sealand, a platform off the English coast that claims to be a separate country, as an example of these unique, unconventional nations.4 min

Global Unity, a micro-nation nestled within the vast potential of humanity. We are a community fostering a unique blend of independence and collective purpose, guided by the luminous threads of the Paxian Creed.
As active citizens of the Pax Empire, we actively strive to build a just and equitable society, a world where every ember thrives in accordance with the First Freedom's Song:
"Do what you will, let passions flow, But do harm to none, or your actions will sow." We take immense pride in being an off-grid, self-sustaining community. Here, we empower our citizens to become resourceful and independent, nurturing the seeds of self-reliance within each individual, embodying the spirit of Intertwined:
"We stand as threads in nature's loom, Bound by respect, dispelling gloom."
Our philosophy extends beyond our borders. We share our knowledge and expertise freely, like a hearth fire warming those who seek a more self-sufficient way of life, ever mindful of Harmony's Call:
"With open hearts and mindful gaze, We walk the path through life's sweet maze. In gentle hands, let kindness empower, And peace shall bloom, like spring time flowers."
Joining the Pax Empire isn't about claiming a plot of land, it's about embracing a shared vision. We are a community united by a dream of self-reliance and a spirit of collective good, guided by A Code of Self:
"This is no law, etched cold and stark, But wisdom's flame, to light the dark. Each Paxian soul, with compass true, Will find their way, their purpose new." Here, personal growth flourishes alongside the well-being of our community.
If the embers of our vision resonate within you, if you yearn for a life of self-sufficiency woven into the fabric of a supportive community, and if the Paxian Creed speaks to your soul, then we invite you to explore further. Perhaps you too will find your place within the Pax Empire of Global Unity, and together we can Live, Love, and Thrive:
"So let your spirit soar on high, Embrace the sun, the moon, the sky. With mindful steps, and our hearts alight, We Go forth and paint the world with light."
