Veteran South African anti-apartheid activist Denis Goldberg, who was tried alongside Nelson Mandela, has died at the age of 87 at his home in Hout Bay, near Cape Town.Goldberg was arrested in 1963 and was sentenced at the Rivonia Trial along with former president Nelson Mandela and other leaders of the anti-apartheid struggle to life imprisonment, the party recounted. He was imprisoned for 22 years in Pretoria Central Prison until he was released in 1985.
