This week, the boys discussed the importance of attenuating your thoughts to one or two things that allow you full focus and clarity. They’ve found through their experiences that working on the ability to harness that conscious effort over a long period of time, into one activity, has catapulted them into high states of productivity and the skill to execute that task at a very high level. Not surprisingly, their anecdotal stories had many parallels and similarities. 

Raf for instance, shares that during his highest levels of execution, especially when flying airliners, he feels the most relaxed. His breathing is deep and physiology in a low pulse state. 

Mike, similarly, adds that during that similar state when executing high stakes activities as a Special Operator, he always enters and exits that task with a high level of visualization. What it will look like when it’s done perfectly, what it will look like when something is off, and how to pivot to correct that deviation. 

Finally, Melon shares his valid point that in the macro view of precision, you ultimately save more time and overall energy. This alone should be reason for us all to make a concerted effort to continue to live in these moments.
