Everyday will test you. That test is unique and tailored to each one of us, because our fears are unique to us. You need to know this the second you wake up. Life is going to test you, and you MUST be prepared.
Melon, Mike and Raf enjoyed a powerful conversation with their guest Nick Grossi. Nick, a former Marine veteran, and aspiring entrepreneur talked about the life altering effects when one chooses to seek purpose over pleasure. They recount the exponential gifts that abound in your life when you practice authenticity and honesty. Honesty with the person staring back in the mirror. The boys sat inspired listening to Nick’s voyage in his pursuit to become the best version of himself. They all agreed that reaching the apex of one’s ability should never be about yourself, but rather for those you love, your friends, and your community. Nick takes us through his daily steps to stay committed, and compares the contrast of what life was like before he built this framework. He opens up about mentors and heroes in his life. Most notably, his Father, and his mentor Wes Watson (@Watson_Fit). Even more crucial to him, is the ability to impact the masses with the same blessings that have been bestowed on him. Not surprisingly, he starts his days at 4 a.m. and walks into the gym to prepare his mind for the day. When you put purpose over pleasure, you guide yourself and others to the best existence on this earth. More importantly, you gain a strength that you never knew was already inside you, waiting to be released.
