In episode 123, I tried to understand the mind of those sent to colonial territory and hold on to that mentality of winning hearts and minds of native peoples. In this episode, I am attempting to diagnose the crossroads that i find myself in as more historical writing about this great country comes to the fore. I do hope to lead to dialogue and understanding, never rage.
we all wanna join the pantheon of great creations, from film to novels to comics. I for one also want to join these fields plus animation. In this episode, I'm going to breakdown, as best i can, why i don't take in as many animation works and why, in all these years, you are yet to see my animations. You will be grateful for it, in the end. That, I promise you.
Hard to believe everything told, especially in a world that gets vague by the minute. I know not what to trust half the time i'm being informed by the different authorities in town. I made this episode of hypothetical gossip (for lack of a better word) because, sometimes, to speculate is better than to regurgitate. hear me out.
In that which we fear, sometimes lies thee best thing to muse into creation. I once heard that Stephen King was afraid of the dark. With his writing still being a big inspiration to me, here's a curiosity, I chose to share.
" They'll tell you the sky's the limit to disguise your limits". A paraphrased line from the album THE ALLEGORY by Royce Da 59'. We want success and we want to enjoy it. We never really take time to ask ourselves what we'll do once we get there. We're also bombarded with material from those who've made it to the other side and not the 'how to get there'. In this episode, I try explain what i believe is my purpose after the warrior journey I'm on for my craft.
when systems are broken, they need to be taken out, sometimes from within. I've been trying to understand how 'the right', in regards to the hard liners and slightly less stern members of the american democracy work. I will admit, i may be reaching. hear me out all the same.
In pop culture, the idea of being a man is derogatory. I question if its a product of vengeance or a result of suffrage warriors of all beliefs sticking it to ' the man', no pun intended? My take.
I often celebrate the unrewarded talent because, pioneering anything is always thankless. You never get to smell your flowers when they bloom. You get respected long after the fact. Art demands patience and undivided attention. One individual who , through his transitions, i learn how to navigate these waters is Joe Budden. In this episode, I share some of what i learn from him,
He not only contributes to music, he also owns the lenses as an actor. I'm honored to share a conversation i had with shukid. Plenty to be learnt from this Ever rising star.
