Chapter five of Paul's letter to the Ephesians is a practical treatise on the basics of Christian living that fleshes out what it means to "walk in love" (Ephes. 5:2) by walking in purity, clarity, and unity in Christ.

Chapter four of Paul's letter to the Ephesians continues to the emphasize of the unity of those who have answered the call to come to Christ Jesus, rejecting the futility of the world, and walking together in the ways of the Lord unto the full measure of maturity in the Christ.
