The Apostle Paul wrote the epistle of Hebrews in a time of crisis for God’s Church. Many of God’s people had forgotten the reason for their calling and had lost their spiritual vision. A terrifying holocaust loomed.

The Apostle Peter was crucified around A.D. 67-68 - some two or three years before the A.D. 70 holocaust in Jerusalem. That disaster was only a type of the coming Great Tribulation, about to explode on the world scene today.

Peter knew that he was going to be crucified shortly after his epistles were written. Paul had been killed about a year or two before Peter's death. Other apostles had also been killed. There was a storm of persecution.

As Peter wrote his book they were entering into the darkest of times. Still, it was only a type of the worst time of suffering ever on Earth, which is descending upon us today. In spite of all this bad news, Peter had a message filled with hope. He wanted God's people to be in an attitude of hope so they could continue to grow spiritually. The last verse of Peter's epistles (2 Peter 3:18) emphasized that crucial issue. We have no future if we aren't growing spiritually.

The Hubble Space Telescope is one of the greatest developments of modern science. Human beings, made in the image and likeness of God, are probing deeply into the universe as never before observing the Creator's handiwork. Those Hubble pictures should give this whole world a great deal more hope not only because those countless awesome galaxies point us to their Creator and His limitless power. It is also because, when understood according to the revelation in the Bible, they expand our understanding of the incredible human potential God has given us!

There has probably never been a greater political watchman than Winston Churchill. His foresight saved the Western world from demise in World War II. Yet today, the West scorns his message. The biggest tragedy of World War II is that we didn’t learn from that shameful and near-fatal disaster.

God’s Work has been revived—as prophesied!

God gave us the victory even though the appeals court ruled against us! It is the most miraculous event since the Philadelphia Church began. Habakkuk prophesied that it would be a double-wonder miracle.

God’s message to the world could not have been delivered had we lost. The court battle tested the faith of God’s people. Most of them have failed that test. Conversely, the miraculous victory revealed who believes God enough to fight for and deliver His end-time message!

The Day of the Lord will be a time of God’s great wrath upon rebellious mankind. It is now just ahead of us. The Prophet Zephaniah tells us approximately when the Day of the Lord will occur and how we can be protected from it.

This prophetic book has only now been fully understood! The book of Zechariah contains prophecy about two end-time churches of God. One church is doing God's Work. It is even prophesied to build a majestic physical house for God, which is now finished, so anybody can see it. It is a symbol of fulfilled prophecy, which proves that God's master plan always prevails. That royal house is also a symbol of endless hope. God's government rules that house and is about to rule all mankind and bring us joy forever. The other church, which is Laodicean, fails in its commission to do God's Work. The key to understanding these churches is a flying scroll. It shows us what God is doing today and where it is all leading.
