PC's One More Thing

In this episode, Pastor Cory tackles questions focused on the passage in Genesis 11:7 where God says "Let us go down and confuse their language..." at the tower of Babel.  Who is God talking to and why wouldn't this be the Trinity?

PC first unpacks why the Trinitarian view of these passages became widely embraced, but also why it is not consistent with the larger context of scripture.  Then he jumps into the impact of the Divine Counsel view of these passages, especially on the idea of being made in the "image of God".

In Episode #4, Pastor Cory jumps in to answer questions that were stirred by the Weekend Message on Genesis 6:1-4.

In one of the most strange and challenging passages in the Bible, this passage accounts how angelic beings leave heaven and take human women and impregnate them, ultimately creating a special kind of offspring known in the Bible as Nephilim.  These beings were described as Giants and their existence gives us an important context in understanding the Biblical flood story.

If you haven't heard Pastor Cory's message on this passage, you can find it here.  https://harvestsprings.com/media/on-demand

PC answers a few questions from the weekend, specifically:

*How did the Nephilim return after the flood?

     *Are there still Nephilim today?

To wrap the Episode up, Cory introduces "The Book of Enoch" and unpacks why it may be important, and how we should treat it's contents.

Ever wonder why God allowed sin into the world?

In this episode, Pastor Cory navigates two major questions that are actually tied together in a surprising way.

First, Pastor Cory clarifies a concept from his message taking issue with the idea that "The Bible is a love letter from God to mankind."  Clearly, the Bible places an importance on Love, but how do you reconcile these two concepts?

This leads into a second question that dives into the simple, yet profound ideas surrounding the Garden of Eden, the Fruit of the Tree, and why God would create the tree if He knew that Adam and Eve were going to fall.

This episode answers some major questions that Christians often wrestle with and drives home the significance of Love, Loyalty, and Faithfulness in our relationship with God.

In Episode #2, Pastor Cory flies solo as he recaps this week's message, and why it’s important for Christians to understand that the “Heavenly Realms” are much more diverse and expansive than we often think, and that there is a supernatural structure that exists that influences our dimension.  After this, he answers a significant question in this arena, “If God is God, why does He need a Divine Counsel?”  Cory wraps up the Episode by unpacking why having a Worldview that includes the “Divine Counsel” is important for a believer, and how it empowers our participation in “The Cosmic War”.

On this inaugural episode of “PC’s One More Thing”, Pastor Cory talks about the purpose of the Podcast and what he hopes to accomplish through it.  After some brief introductions, Joel (the Host) and Cory talk about the timeliness of the “Cosmic War” series and why so many people are wondering about the End-Times and the future of our world.  Cory also talks about how the Bible’s revelations about “Spiritual Dimensions” is actually in line with Modern Science and how Quantum Physics is working to reveal and open portals into other dimensional realities.  The Episode wraps up with a discussion about what those “Spiritual Dimensions” could be as revealed in the Bible, and how it might shape our understanding of what happens beyond this life.
