To be fifteen, in Paris, with the man you love: what could be better? Or worse? Leigh Hancock’s wanderlust began on a high school trip to Europe. It carried her from her humble roots in Hueytown, Alabama around the world (a couple of times), before landing her in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. Leigh’s obsession with stories fuels her work as teacher, grant writer and storyteller.

Recently retired from a 35 year career as faculty in the counseling department at Clackamas Community College, she spends most of her energy and time involved with her vibrant community of family and friends.
