This week's sermon comes from Matthew 21:33-46. It is the Parable of the Wicked Tenants and a follow-up to the Parable of the Two Sons. Rev. Shannon Blosser looks at the parable and how it is a warning for us to produce kingdom fruit in response to our faith in God.

Today is World Communion Sunday. Our worship podcast begins with our Call to Worship, which focuses on the unity of the church through Christ. Our choir returns this week to sing "Word of God." Finally, Rev. Shannon Blosser offers a sermon on Matthew 21:23-32. In the sermon, he focuses on the interactions between Jesus and the religious leaders. He says while it is easy for us to think we are not them, growth in faith comes when we recognize our likeness to the religious leaders who confronted Jesus and turn away from those attitudes.

Rev. Shannon Blosser is back in the pulpit this week. The sermon today comes from Matthew 20:1-16. It is the story of the landowner and the vineyard. With the passage, Rev. Shannon talks about how easy it is to become resentful of others and how God might call us to live differently.

This week in worship we are joined by our special guest preacher Rev. Mark Conner. He leads us in a reflection on the nature of forgiveness.

This week's sermon continues our look at the Wesleyan movement's distinctiveness by examining how we connect with Scripture. Rev. Shannon Blosser focuses on 2 Timothy 3:16 and talks about how Scripture is truthful and primary in our engagement with God. He also talks about how we can reflect upon what we read through prayer.

Today, we begin a new sermon series looking at the distinctiveness of the Methodist movement. We start by looking at what is known as the General Rules. Rev. Shannon Blosser examines the rules through the lens of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40). He says the rules of do no harm, do good, and maintain the ordinances of God enable us to love God and our neighbor.

We conclude our sermon series on the Apostles' Creed today by looking at the statement "I believe in the holy catholic church" and "the communion of saints." Through Matthew 16:13-20, Rev. Shannon Blosser examines what it means to believe in the church and what the church is to be built upon.
