How do you define perfection? We know that perfection is impossible - we all make mistakes. So why do we put pressure on ourselves to be perfect? It’s time we redefine perfection and find peace.
In today’s solo episode, I wanted to touch base and reconnect with you. It will soon be my 50th birthday and as it’s been approaching I’ve started to reflect and process who I am at this stage in my life. Throughout this episode, you will hear about the recent stress I have felt as a result of the pressure I put on myself to be perfect, why I think we need to redefine perfection, and the journey to accepting imperfection. I have found a few tools that I go to during periods of angst, anxiety, and stress, but I am still learning and working to answer the question: how can we find peace in how things are?
Tune in to Episode 27 of Peace and Love Amplifiers to continue on this journey with me of accepting imperfection and finding peace.

It’s no secret that when we’re moving into adulthood, as children and teens, we’re sometimes forced to find our path alone. Society teaches us that once we turn 18, we should start to figure things out by ourselves, and we’re thrown into the deep end of the world without a lifeline. But that shouldn’t necessarily be the case.
In today’s episode, I am joined by a dear friend of mine, Maria Pinardo, who’s been part of The Bridge for 25 years – a unique program of support and positive lifestyle enrichment for youth and adults. They hold weekly empowerment sessions, often led by the youth, focusing on leadership, communication, team building, anti-bullying, self-care, and more. Maria kindly explains their mission and how things work inside The Bridge, and shares a few things we can all do every day to keep our peaceful state of mind.
Tune in to Episode 26 of Peace and Love Amplifiers to learn how The Bridge facilitates safe spaces for authentic relating and builds harmonious connections among diverse participants.
