In this episode I speak with one of the Saudi Feminists about one of the most crucial issues in Saudi Arabia, and that is Male Guardianship system. She is an intersectional feminist with activism experience in and outside of Saudi Arabia.
My guest addresses how it is limiting, suffocating and threating for women to exist under the control of guardianship. Also addressing; feminism movement in Saudi Arabia and its demands, Activism of women's rights, detention and prosecution of activists, and how using social media for activism mentally affects activists. The conversion was long for one episode so I made it into 2, part 2 will be published next week.
