In Luke 9:18-20, we find Jesus asking his disciples who the crowds said that He was. And then He asks His disciples for their opinion of them. Peter answers correctly, but the revelation was not yet complete for him. Peter, as well as all the disciples were in a continually unfolding revelatin of who Christ was.
