One of the more frequent scriptures that I use for prayer is Isaiah 55:8-9. It's a good confession and easy to agree with. Our thoughts are often jumbled, upset, and wrong. Our ways are often impatient, driven by our flesh, and self-absorbed. God is contrary to our ways and thoughts are contrary to ours and sooooooooooo much higher!
