Using the letters of the alphabet we are going to tell God who He is to us. Making it personal, you are my Advocate... and so on all the way to the letter Z. You'll be led in through, given time to speak out your own praise between letters. Let a sacrifice of praise be on your lips. He is worthy of your worship.

Sometimes words are hard, so using biblical images to spend time in God's presence are very helpful. God speaks often using pictures. They contain a depth of spiritual truth that offer us great insight. With the help of the Spirit we use our minds ponder and see the Word of God. So today, consider that He is the potter, you are the clay. Let yourself experience the peace of His gentle hands on you, pouring water of His Spirit upon you to mold you and make you for His glory. How do you define what it means to wait? We humans hate to wait. We become anxious in waiting. We try and force our way forward as means to influence outcome. God has a definition for waiting contrary to our nature. Is it active or passive? What does it look like? What comes as a result? Today listen in for the definition and then surrender to His counsel. We say it to ourselves but what is the context? How do we have confidence in applying it to our lives? God speaks volumes about His power in Psalm 46 and we are to remind ourselves of what He is saying for mind renewal.
