What is praiseworthy? Where can you turn your eyes, focus your attention and dwell on that which is praiseworthy? God! He alone is worthy of our praise. What is praise? What is the power of praise? We can spend a lot of energy thinking upon the moral depravity or lack of virtue we see and experience in others. This leads to frustration, troubling thoughts and feelings. We end up being consumed by negativity at the loss of investing in a deeper experience with God AND SUPERNATURAL TRANSFORMATION. In His presence we should invest in not what needs to change in others; but what needs to change in us. Today is exercise 7 of 8 from Philippians 4:8, if there be anything of virtue. There is a desperate search we have to see and experience virtue. But it begins with us.
