  • Contender - The Purpose Is Personal | Sermon Audio

    Send us Fan Mail

On February 16, 2025, Pastor Ryan Kimmel continued the "Contender" sermon series, preaching from Jude 17-23. He challenged the congregation to reflect on how personal their faith truly is, emphasizing that our willingness to act is a direct reflection of how deeply we believe. Just as we passionately respond when something personally affects us, our faith should move us to contend for the truth, stand firm against worldly influences, and extend mercy to those who doubt. Jude calls Christians to stay in God's love, build themselves up in faith, and actively share the gospel, not merely as a private belief but as a personal mission with eternal significance. Pastor Ryan urged believers not to just take faith seriously but to take it personally, stepping boldly into their calling as followers of Christ.

  • Contender - The Judgement Is Real | Sermon Audio

    Send us Fan Mail

On February 9, 2025, Pastor Ryan Kimmel continued the Contender series with Jude 5-16, declaring that judgment is real. Many churches avoid this truth, but Scripture is clear—God judges sin. Jude gives three examples: Israel in the wilderness, fallen angels, and Sodom and Gomorrah. Judgment came because they rejected God’s authority and pursued their own desires. The same warning applies today—false Christians who twist God’s grace as a license to sin will face judgment. Pastor Ryan also addressed the curiosity around Enoch, making it clear that extra-biblical writings are not Scripture but reinforce the Bible’s message. The bottom line? If you long for justice, you must accept judgment. But here’s the good news—Jesus, the Judge, is also the Savior. Without Him, we stand condemned. With Him, we are clothed in righteousness. So wake up, contend for the faith, and lift high the name of Jesus!

  • Contender - The Fight Is Now | Sermon Audio

    Send us Fan Mail

On February 2, 2025, Pastor Ryan Kimmel preached from Jude 1-4 as part of the Contender series, emphasizing the urgent call for Christians to contend for the faith. He highlighted the challenges facing the church, including opposition from the world, the flesh, and spiritual forces, but also the internal threats of false teachings and distorted grace. Jude warns that some within the church have twisted God's grace into an excuse for sin, denying Christ by their actions. Pastor Ryan urged believers to stand unified, remain aware, and pursue holiness, reminding them that faith is not something to take lightly or delay. Christians are called to fight the good fight now, relying on the strength of the Holy Spirit and the power of Jesus' name. The battle is here, the time is now, and we must be all in.

  • From Womb To Tomb - Justice For The Fatherless | Sermon Audio

    Send us Fan Mail

On January 19, Pastor Ryan Kimmel continued the "From Womb to Tomb" series with a sermon from Psalm 82, delivered on Sanctity of Life Sunday. He declared the church’s call to stand for life as part of its divine mission to uphold justice for those who cannot defend themselves. Drawing from Psalm 82, Pastor Ryan emphasized that God is the supreme and righteous judge who demands justice for the weak, the fatherless, and the afflicted. He challenged believers to consider whether they have denied justice to the weak, including the unborn, asking if our cultural emphasis on rights has blinded us to what is ultimately right before God. Pastor Ryan urged the church to move the conversation about abortion from “what is lawful” to “what is loving” and reminded us that true justice cannot come only through laws but through hearts transformed by Christ. Finally, he proclaimed the hope of the gospel: that through Jesus, whose grace is greater than all sin, even the gravest injustices can be forgiven, and believers are called to join God’s work of justice in the world.

  • From Womb To Tomb - Caring For Widows | Sermon Audio

In the first part of the "From Womb to Tomb" series, Pastor Ryan Kimmel preached from Exodus 22:22-24, emphasizing that God's people are called to reflect His heart by caring for the vulnerable. He reminded the church that being pro-life means valuing life at every stage, from the unborn to widows and the elderly. Neglecting or mistreating those in need goes against God's command and invites His justice. Pastor Kimmel urged the church to go beyond words by building relationships and supporting widows, single mothers, and others who need care, showing the world what it truly means to honor the sanctity of life.

On January 5, 2025, Pastor Ryan Kimmel delivered a sermon titled "A Season is Ending and Beginning" based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-11. As Peace Church prepared to move into a new worship center, Pastor Ryan reflected on the significance of seasons in life, reminding the congregation that while spaces may change, the essence of the church remains in its people. Ecclesiastes teaches that life’s seasons—joy and sorrow, growth and loss—are all part of God’s divine plan. Pastor Ryan emphasized that God’s constancy provides hope in the midst of change, encouraging the congregation to glorify God in every season by embracing His timing, recognizing the beauty in the present, and revering His eternal works. As Peace Church closed one chapter and began another, the message underscored that change is not to be feared but embraced with gratitude and faith, trusting in God's control and His unfolding plan.

  • Go Tell It On The Mountain - The News To His Enemy | Sermon Audio

    Send us Fan Mail

On December 24, Pastor Ryan Kimmel delivered a powerful Christmas Eve sermon based on Matthew 2:1-18. Pastor Ryan contrasted King Herod’s fearful, destructive reaction to Christ’s birth with the liberating and life-giving message of the Gospel. Herod's obsession with power led him to lies, manipulation, and even the horrific act of murdering innocent children, highlighting the darkness of resisting God’s authority. Yet, Pastor Ryan reminded us that Jesus cannot be stopped—He brings liberation from sin, the truth that transcends all human understanding, and the gift of eternal life through His death and resurrection. This Christmas, we are called to reject the spirit of Herod in our lives, embrace Christ fully, and celebrate the unstoppable power of His love and salvation.
