Faced with a storm and sinking ship, Jonah is thrown in to the open sea.  Soon after, he is swallowed by a large fish.  Circumstances could not be more grim for Jonah, yet he is right where the Lord Wants him.  How does this change the way we view our own circumstances? 

Jonah continues running from God by hiding out on a ship sailing in the opposite direction from where God wants him to be. In life, we too can hide from God. If God is love and offers us his goodness, why do we hide from him? This exploratory question can reveal a struggle that we all face.
