We live in a dangerous world. We live in a world that wants to kill us, not just physically. We live in a world that has enmity toward our souls.

A number of years ago, when I was driving along the interstate, I saw a sign for a church that had this passage written on it.

Do you ever need to vent? Is it okay for a Christian to vent frustration?

Being sick is terrible. You don't feel right. You don't feel yourself.

Do you like being called a Christian? Or do you like calling yourself a Christian?

If you find benefit from these devotions we'd encourage you to support our ministry.

When we try to comprehend a little bit of who God is, it's really difficult for us. It's such a tremendous contrast to who we are.

I was going through the big pile of Bibles to sign, and I told a secretary, I wish I could be doing this at a bookstore somewhere with people lined up to get my autograph for some interesting novel I've written.

One of the reasons for Jesus ascension is to demonstrate to us that his work of coming to pay for our sins is all completed.

It's interesting that becoming part of a Christian congregation is really a wonderful blessing from God.
