… I have a question about the dove or the peace dove. Long before Christianity developed, the
dove was a symbol of peace, but it was first mentioned in the Bible with an olive leaf in its beak,
in the first book of Moses, chapters 6 to 9, in connection with the Flood. According to this story,
the Bible tells us that the alleged God wanted to destroy the people of the Earth with a flood,
because he had seen that "the people had great wickedness on Earth". Only the allegedly god-
obedient Noah and his family should be spared. This imaginary 'creator god' is said to have
ordered him to build a very large ship, the so-called Ark, to take in a pair of each species and
save them from the Flood. And if one considers that there are millions of genera and species of
animals and gems, then the ark would have to have been several times larger than the largest
aircraft carrier if a pair of each animal had to be brought into the giant barge. When the flood
came to an end, Noah is said to have first let a raven (Genesis 1:8) fly after 40 days to find out
whether the water on Earth dried up, and then the bird flew back and forth until the water dried
up. And anyone who also wants to believe this story must assume that the
