Ephesians 2:19 Consequently,
you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s
people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles
and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the
whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the
Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in
which God lives by his Spirit.
Most people
want peace inside and peace with others. I know you all know people who seem to
love conflict and confrontation, but most of you want peace. In this message,
we’ll look to the author of peace, the Prince of Peace, and see His plan to
join people of different backgrounds, traditions, and standards in unity and
peace to accomplish a mission that will change both our lives and the world.
That unity doesn’t mean “sameness”; it means that we move together in
oneness because of a shared purpose and a shared person (Jesus). If you have
any conflict in your life with anyone, or even within yourself, this will be a
helpful and relevant teaching from the word of God.
