It's no secret that the way we were raised and our experiences in past relationships play a significant role in how we learn to accept and receive love. From cheating and not disclosing childhood trauma, to the double standards perpetuated by society, and maybe even a little bit of discomfort with being vulnerable. The first step in being able to change old patterns of behavior that no longer serve you and your relationships is looking inward and recognizing that these choices may be part of the problem.

Alejandra, Marisol, and T talk about the evolution of social media and smartphones, and the impact this has had on our mental health. We share findings from scientific research studies on the topic, in addition to our own perspectives and experiences. From Party Lines, Myspace, and Chatroulette, to Facebook, Instagram, and iPhones...social media platforms and smartphones play a huge role in all of our lives, even if some of us are reluctant to admit it.

Alejandra, Marisol, and T talk about the many different aspects of healthy relationships, whether it be with a friend, colleague, or a romantic partner. From setting clear boundaries upfront, to listening/validating vs. problem-solving, there are a lot of things we can all work on in order to improve ourselves and our relationships with others.
