What if your lowest moment wasn’t the end, but a starting point?

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي”.

O Allah, I seek Your pardon and my well-being in this world and the next. O Allah, I seek Your pardon and my well-being in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family, and in my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and preserve me from anguish . O Allah, guard me from what is in front of me and behind me, from my left, and from my right, and from above me . I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being struck from beneath me.

Allāhumma innī as’alukal-ʿafwa wal-ʿāfiyata fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah.

Allāhumma innī as’alukal-ʿafwa wal-ʿāfiyata fī dīnī wa dunyāya wa ahlī wa mālī.

Allāhumma’stur ʿawrātī wa āmin rawʿātī.

Allāhummaḥfaẓnī min bayni yadayya wa min khalfī wa ʿan yamīnī wa ʿan shimālī wa min fawqī, wa aʿūdhu biʿaẓamatika an ughtāla min taḥtī.

"Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs". Surah Ali-Imran (3:173)

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka ʿilman nāfiʿā, wa rizqan ṭayyibā, wa ʿamalan mutaqabbalā.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, halal provision, and actions that are accepted.

Many of us are stuck in a cycle of self-deception. Trapped in the illusion of “There's no harm in this” and "I still have time".

A reminder about humility, hidden struggles, and the danger of deceiving ourselves.

Allah says, “They deceive none but themselves, yet they do not perceive it.”  (Qur’an 2:9)

Which struggle do you prefer, the one of being consumed by your desires or the aided path following that which your lord has preferred for you? Pick your struggle because you will struggle anyway.

This note focuses on how everyday decisions, struggles, and intentions can become steps toward Allah. I have found myself at a point of feeling helpless, and the main reason behind that was because I have lived most of my life and shaped everything I do with my time according to culture, social pressure and personal opinion, so whose aid was I expecting?

Whether you are seeking understanding, rebuilding your relationship with Allah, or simply trying to live with more consciousness and sincerity, this note is to invite you and me to pause, reflect, and walk the path with knowledge, humility, and hope.

This note is not about teaching others or claiming moral authority. It is about self-accountability, recognising personal shortcomings, and committing to ongoing return to Allah through tawbah and intentional growth.

If character is faith made visible, then this note is my attempt to look honestly at what my faith looks like in practice and what still needs work.

In this episode, I speak to myself before anyone else. A reminder that my greatest struggle is not against the world, but against myself ; my desires, my distractions, and the parts of me that pull me away from Allah.
