What is covert narcissism? Some people describe it as shy, introverted narcissism with the same entitlement and superiority of the overt version as well as a similar sense of confusion and chaos for anyone close to the covert narcissist. We dive in deeper to understand how this toxic personality trait can play a role in divorce and co-parenting.
Guest Info:
Renee Swanson is a certified life coach for abuse victims. Renee's focus is on victims of covert narcissistic abuse. She works to help victims get on a solid path of healing, to make sense out of the feelings and thoughts they have experienced through abuse, and to teach them how to take charge of their own life and happiness once again.

Looking to turn your co-parenting relationship around? This week we're talking to author Teresa Harlow who wrote a book that focuses on how to turn a combative co-parenting relationship into a collaborative one. She's walking the walk and has researched the topic in depth to bring you actionable insights to try today!
Guest Info:
Teresa Harlow has spent more than 20 years co-parenting and another 30 years in corporate settings building a "can-do" philosophy. She's helped teams and individuals achieve feats they thought were impossible. She says she did this by provoking them to think differently and question limits they imposed on themselves and others. Teresa believes that once a person is liberated to think beyond their present state, I worked with them to define their path to recast the impossible as possible.

Changing the way we "see" people can shift the kind of relationship we have with them. In co-parenting, this comes into play because there's always something we can be doing better to improve the relationship even if you think your co-parent is the difficult, "high conflict" co-parent.
Guest Info:
Kimberly White is an author and public speaker who focuses on how we can improve our relationships by choosing what we focus on in others. In this episode, Kimberly dives in to her first book called The Shift to illustrate her point that when we "treat people like people" great things can happen inside ourselves and to the relationship dynamic. Kimberly spent nine months of research for The Shift included dozens of hours working alongside nursing home employees in offices, showers, vans, patient rooms, kitchens, and one very creepy basement.

Getting your finances in order can be a daunting task, especially after a separation or divorce. In this episode, you'll hear some advice about how to gain financial independence from a financial planner passionate about helping women in transition.
Guest Info:
Rachael Burns is a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst based in Folsom, California. She is the founder of True Worth Financial Planning, which helps newly single women achieve financial independence after the divorce or death of their partner.
Rachael spent 12 years in ‘traditional’ wealth management before a series of life events re-shaped her career path. Shortly before the birth of her twins, her husband was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer. With two babies on the way and her husband undergoing cancer treatment, the uncertainty was overwhelming. Planning for her family’s future was next to impossible, but she felt fortunate that her professional expertise allowed her to quickly adapt their financial plan.
Through her own personal experiences navigating grief and finances, she found her calling — to support and empower other women during the most challenging transitions of their lives. In 2020 mid-lockdown, she left the corporate wealth management world and launched her own fee-only firm, True Worth Financial Planning.
