Today’s episode features Mr. Keith Henderson. He has chosen to read “African American Inventors and Their Inventions” by Dr. Anita C. President. Bonus Q&A segment . Mr. Henderson gives (one) male’s perspective about why reading for African American boys may be challenging. The number one cause is the lack of interest. They lack interest in reading because they don’t see themselves enough and not in a positive light—something everyone needs to pique their interest, which might lead to the JOY of reading. We thank Mr. Keith for lending his voice for the mission and vision of Peaches and Sourcream Children’s Foundation.
