Peak-standby power source construction has begun in the Novopolotsk CHPP
On the 22 of September, a specialized inspection of the Construction Control and Supervision Department registered the start of construction and installation works on the 3rd stage of construction of the peak-standby power source at the site of the Novopolotsk CHPP in Vitebsk energy system.
The general contractor RUE "Belenergostroy" - the holding's management company has begun the necessary preparatory work for the installation of equipment and foundations for two gas turbine units and ancillary equipment. In particular, at the construction site of the peak-standby power source the topsoil and foundation stripping has been preparing. Piles for static test have been successfully settled. Work for the pile field setting under the gas turbine units is in progress.
