Wow. It has been one heck of a year... We started adulting, paying our own bills, started a podcast, and a ton of other things that you've already heard us rant about over this season. Since so much has happened since we started this journey we decided to take this episode to just quickly sum up some of the things that we've learned so far in the different realms of our lives as adults. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. We talk about topics ranging from friendships, careers, family, mental health, and some other things that I honestly couldn't tell you off the top of my head right now because it's so overwhelming. So, sit back, relax, and listen to some of the lessons that we've already learned in our short journey as adults.

It’s FINALLY the holiday season! A FINAL moment to wrap up the year, say your FINAL goodbyes to all the things and people you wanna leave behind, and of course the best part! *drumroll* FINALS!! Well at least for our student population haha, as for the adults the holidays are a time to go broke from buying gifts and food for family gatherings to help remind us how much we don’t have in the hope we get more next year. Now, which kind of season is worse? Finals or just adult holidays? We have no idea, but you know we will try our best in this episode where we discuss the good and the bad of the holiday season, how to endure it, and some tips and tricks on how to possibly conquer it! Take a listen it, grab a turkey leg and a glass of eggnog and let’s chat about the holidays.

Jeez my glass is empty again…oh! I mean uh... Hi all of you obviously not lonely and sad hour people! Are you also sippin' down to your last drops of alc, or are you living my dream and on a hot date? Well, whatever your answer, this episode will help you rack your brain around both or neither of these circumstances. In this episode, per the title, we talk about love and while yes, we did a similar episode on this earlier, this episode is a little different since it goes into a more personal and micro scale perspective rather than our original, general view of love. Tune in and listen to Dom and Thomas’s past, current, and potential perspectives on love and see how much you can relate to them. Not only will we touch on what's happened in our past and present but we will also talk about some red flags that we maybe should've picked up on earlier. We didn't see it back then so hopefully by talking about it with you now, we'll save you some pain! So, without further ado, chug down that last bit, take a shot, and let’s get sappy.

Remember when you were in college and it felt like you had all the time in the world? If you needed to skip class to sleep in because you were up all night working on a project (or spent a little too long at that sorority date night…), you could do that! Or, if you needed to stay up a little late just to get everything you had planned done, you could do that too! But now that you’re an adult… doesn’t it feel like the days got shorter and now there’s never enough time to get the necessities done? Well, that’s how we feel and we know we aren’t alone! Now, we’ve only been doing this “adulting” thing for a little bit and we are no experts (trust me!) but on this episode we’ll share all of our tips and tricks on how we try to get everything done as an adult. Work, going to the gym, making dinner; pretty much things you HAVE to get done to survive in this crazy thing we call life. So, try to to pencil us into your crazy schedule (trust me, we get it) and listen to us talk about work/life balance for young adults!

Well g’day there people! Question; have you ever wondered how life would be in another country? Hypothetically, America’s smaller cousin down under? Specifically college or young adult life? Well wonder no more, because on this episode we get to collaborate with a newfound friend all the way from Sydney, Australia, Ness! She also has a podcast called “Let’s Talk Shit” where she talks about her young adult problems and well…talks shit! Go give it a listen, and as for this episode, we know it’s a little longer, but honestly it’s because we learned so much about Australia and how they live life, what college is like there, and how someone there transitions to young adulthood. So come on down, put some shrimp on the barby, grab your pet platypus, and let’s dive in!

You thought going into a Physics test on a Monday with 2 hrs of studying and only 4 hours of sleep was hard? Try running off of 5 hours of sleep and going into a job for 8-10 hours of the day with no cheat sheet, hence no idea how to do your job. In this episode, we talk about how we chose our major, did we ever want to change it, and did school actually prepare us for our current careers. There’s also some bonus content where you get to hear all of the things we thought that we wanted to be when we grew up. Choosing your major at 18 which then maybe leads to the rest of your life is hard and sometimes you’ll have doubts. You won’t have all of the answers, but that’s ok, because the point of life is to learn through experience!! Although if someone creates a Chegg for adult life, send us the link pronto! We hope you enjoy this episode and maybe learn a thing or two. And hey, if you think you’re clueless how about you just listen to us and realize you’re not alone.

Can you still have fun as an adult for Halloween? What costumes are the best and why? What aspects do we keep from our childhood to make spooky season nostalgic and fun? All these questions and more answered on this episode of “Peaked in College?”

For college athletes, this is a conversation we’ve all had with ourselves when we are laying on the floor after a hard, sweaty practice asking ourselves “why am I doing this again?” In this episode, we dive a little deeper than most on our reasons as to why we became student athletes, what are daily lives looked like, and how that lifestyle affected us physically, emotionally, and most importantly, mentally. Even for listeners who might not be athletes, the latter part of this episode aims to relate to all in the discussion of mental health and how it is created, our struggles toughing through it, and then how we eventually overcame it. While we do try to keep our podcasts light and comedic, this podcast is split more 50/50 between funny stories and some unfiltered, real talk. We hope this episode has a positive impact on those listening, by letting you know, you are not alone. Get ready to peak behind the curtain of being a student athlete and let’s get into it! (Also this episode is a bit longer than the others but vulnerability takes time, Sorry!)

In this episode we talk about are we socially awkward, or just picky with our friends? There’s gotta be a difference right, like just because I don’t talk to many people doesn’t classify me as an introverted, closed off person 🤷♂️maybe I’m just observing the crowd and searching for quality over quantity. And if so, then how do I even engage the quality people to make friends with, when my social awkwardness might kick in and mess it up? These may be questions you have in relation to a slight struggle in finding/making friends in your college or young adult life, so sit back, relax, and let us spill our embarrassing stories so maybe you end up a little better at making friends than us!

Do you catch yourself staying up late at night thinking of that certain someone while listening to “Marvins Room” with the LED lights on blue and realize love is for suckers? Well don’t worry, I’m playing Giveon right now, but yet I still have hope. In this episode, we talk about are we destined to never find love or do we kid ourselves into thinking the world is a huge rom com. Don’t worry, we aren’t saying love is stupid or that you shouldn’t send that text you have drafted in your notes, we just wanna connect and discuss on the pros and cons of being a hopeless or hopeful romantic and how various relationships experiences can affect that viewpoint. Not only in college but after graduation as well. So sit back and listen, maybe grab a glass of wine……actually looking at what we are talking about, maybe the whole bottle.
