This also sparks some kind of insecurity in Alice that quickly spirals out of hand. Not to be left out, Beard finally gives in and sees Jane's show and Rebecca is thrown through a loop when Matthias announces he's moving to London full-time with his daughter. Roy makes a confession to Keeley that shakes her to her core. All of this leads to the fateful match day that holds surprises in store for everyone that may define the entire rest of the season. Like many an episode 5 in past seasons this one feels pivotal and like a true halfway point of a season. Our characters have not only grown but are now being challenged to look deeper and find a way through their faults and insecurities to discover something bigger. We get a patented Ted speech, learn the history of theatre superstitions, settle the debate of whether audio books count as "reading" and, of course, teach ourselves to "Hold on for one more day".
