This week on ITW, we welcome our first guest of the season. Yankee fan and New York resident, Jeff Weiss! We’ll be asking Jeff what he thinks about the 2018 version of the Yankees as well as pick his brain about his favorite moments in Yankee history. We will also cover, as always, the Chicago Cubs.

This week on ITW, we will touch on Fangraph’s 2018 Positional Ratings, examine new legislation pertaining to wages for minor league players and Leo and I will be making our predictions for the upcoming season. Finally, we discuss the improbable run by the Loyola Ramblers in the NCAA basketball tournament .

This Week on ITW we will preview the chances for both of our childhood teams, the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers. We will also talk about what the Cubs have been doing in Arizona.

This week on ITW, we’ll examine the Cubs’ options for lead-off hitter. The regular-season is slated to start in less than three weeks and there are several unsigned free-agents who would help any number of teams. We’ll also do a lap around the league to see what’s what. Finally, we’ll be talking about the career of Ichiro Suzuki.
