A brief recap on the National Youth Gathering Sunday, as we spoke with those who were in attendance about what they learned.

God is at work in the world preparing people’s hearts to believe in Him and His Son Jesus Christ for the salvation of their souls. They just need someone who knows and loves Jesus to come an speak to them about His love. Who will that be? This is the mission of the Church.

Jesus uses this parable to teach us to use our wealth wisely. One way to do that is by being generous to, and making friends with, those in need especially those who do not yet believe, in the hope that we will see them in heaven.

Salvation is something God does for you. Discipleship is something you do with God. Salvation occurs in a moment. Discipleship takes a lifetime. Our relationship with Jesus is in a category above all other relationships. No matter how difficult following Jesus may get, do not quit. He will see us through to the end.

What are your biggest fears in life? What are you most afraid of? And is it possible for us to be set free from fear?

Life is hard. The struggle is real. It's a good thing we have God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who make it all better.

Sometimes when people get really passionate about something there is usually conflict not far behind. Jesus speaks passionately and urgently about His mission and warns His followers that as they too share that passion and urgency they will experience opposition. How do we maintain a passion and urgency for the Gospel?

What do you do and where do you go in time of worry, fear, anxiety, and doubt?

The things we put our time, effort, and even money into, are the things that we treasure the most, but can also be the things that become our master. Who is your master?
