This is the first of a three episode mini series covering the three sources of protein in Howard's Blend Plant-Based Protein Powder.

 

This episode we're focusing on pea protein. 

 

Going over how it's manufactured. Next, we cover a benefit of pea protein. Then, we go over a potential negative side effect of pea protein. Finally, I give my two cents on why pea protein is so prevalent in protein powders today. 

 

Note: I forgot to mention another (possible) con of pea protein isolate. That is high sodium content.  This occurs when sodium is added during the wet filtration process.
