- REFRACTION Episode #11 - MADLOCH Guest MixRefraction (TM Radio Show) :: www.tm-radio.com/shows.php?id=319read more, find tracklist, download :: www.tm-radio.com/e/10579FREE DOWNLOADThe last REFRACTION of this great year of 2019 welcomes the one and only Madloch 🖤Hailing from Belgium Madloch is certainly one of the most important figures of the contemporary deep/progressive house scene.Owner of the labels Sound Avenue, 3rd Avenue (and others), it’s not too much to say that lots of today's big names have released music with him during almost 10 years of history.Going back through the years you can find some spectacular pearls released on those labels from names such as Eelke Kleijn, Tim Engelhardt, Martin Roth, Petar Dundov, Pablo Bolívar, Navar, and Madloch himself. My first contact with those labels was submitting a remix for the Madloch "State Of Mind" contest, that I finished on the top 6, a huge honor for a young producer. After that, I was invited to officially remix Alberto Blanco's track "Distant Planets“ for 3rd Avenue, that I consider one of my best remixes so far.Recently I’ve had the huge honor to be invited to prepare a Spotify mix only with tracks from Sound Avenue and 3rd Avenue, so I know what I’m talking about when the subject is the quality of those labels.I’ve also had the privilege to hang out with the guy in Barcelona (where I testified a beautiful deep set from Madloch) and in Amsterdam during ADE, so I can tell how great is his vision for the scene and specially his humbleness.I could stay here saying good things about this guy for hours, but let’s listen to his music instead! See you next Saturday!Cheers for the great Madloch!Track List01 Jamie Stevens & Joe Miller - Peninsula (Original Mix) [Dawn till Dusk]02 Albuquerque, CANCCI - Chasing Time (Original Mix) [Akbal Music]03 ID - ID04 Jeremy Olander - First Sights (Original Mix) [Balance Music]05 Rick Pier O'Neil System (Nicolas Rada Remix) [Proton Music]06 Paul Angelo & Don Argento - Durendal (Hot TuneiK Remix) [Sound Avenue]07 Madloch & Subnode Lion's Mane (Dmitry Molosh Remix) [Sound Avenue]08 atish - Warbler (incl. About Pedro Capelossi DJ Sets
From the publisher's feed
With a producer career that spans a decade, Pedro Capelossi has quickly emerged from Spain’s avant-garde electronic music landscape.
Born in Brazil, naturalized in Spain, and currently based in Valencia, Pedro has forged a distinctive sound focused on inventive use of atmosphere and rhythm, drawing lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula.
In 2023, he founded his own musical imprint, Refraction Records, a platform that brings together forward-thinking visual artists, designers, and musicians. Blurring the boundaries between house, techno, and their closely related derivatives, the label operates with a deep understanding of the principles established by electronic music’s most influential innovators.
Pedro’s work has found a natural home on Pablo Bolívar’s Seven Villas, serving as a primary outlet for his expansive sound. Further releases on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, Madloch’s Sound Avenue, and specialized imprints such as ARTS, Hoomidas Records, TOR (When We Dip), and Loot Recordings further underline the breadth of his catalogue.
Over the years, his productions have received support from respected figures including Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Andrey Pushkarev, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn, Pablo Bolívar, Ben Sims, Aurora Halal, Armen Miran among many others.
As a DJ for over a decade, Pedro built a strong presence in his former hometown of Barcelona, performing at renowned clubs and events such as Pacha, NOM Barcelona, Café del Mar, City Hall, Macarena, and Valhalla, sharing the booth with artists like Sébastien Léger, Eelke Kleijn, Cid Inc, and Fur Coat.
Back in his home city of São Paulo, he played a key role in shaping the local nightlife through projects like UNIK ID, hosting international artists such as Nick Warren and Cid Inc, as well as the PROGRESSION series at one of Brazil’s most iconic clubs, D.EDGE, supporting world-class guest artists throughout the year.
Pedro’s DJ sets are rooted in underground electronic music, with a strong focus on dub house, dub techno, deep house, minimal, and downtempo. His ability to move fluidly between styles allows him to adapt seamlessly to intimate club settings as well as large-scale festival environments.
