This is a timelapse screen capture of the Windows 98 Second Edition installation process. This was done on a real time-correct system with parts available for purchase in (or around) the year 1998. The system consisted of the following:

Intel Celeron 300A CPU (300MHz)

Fujitsu 14GB 5400 RPM HDD

Music is "8-Bit Dreamscape" by "The Whole Other".

A quick recording of a Roland SC55-ST after setting it up in DOSBOX. It is connected to a modern Windows 10 PC via the Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB to MIDI adapter. Audio is then fed back into the PC through a Line-In jack. Jump to 0:58 for mission briefing, 2:28 for first map gameplay.

Got a large number of ESXi hosts? VMware Update Manager (VUM) can make quick work of the driver update process. By utilizing DRS, it can automate the host evacuation, driver installation and even host reboots. Here is a walk-through of how to upload a custom patch and create a VUM baseline for driver updates.

EDIT: At 12:28 I mention that Update Manager could do more than one host concurrently if resources are available. This is only true if you check off 'parallel remediation' in the remediation settings wizard. By default, it will only do one host at a time.
