The morning commute begins well before dawn on this chilly March morning in Puyallup, Washington. The atmosphere is crisp and calm as people of various vocations wait at the platform to board a Sounder train to their workplaces in Seattle.

In this episode, Half Range Vision documents the freight and commuter trains of the 5 am hour. A future episode will continue with the 6 am hour after first light breaks across the sky and the trains keep coming.
